The Breakthrough Foundations program is designed for dog owners who want to build a solid foundation of on-leash obedience and communication. If you’re looking for a structured program that helps your dog thrive in everyday situations—without the need for off-leash training—this is the perfect fit.

Through this program, you’ll learn how to teach your dog essential commands such as sit, down, heel, place, stay, and recall. You’ll also discover how to establish clear communication with your dog, helping you create a balanced and harmonious relationship.

We’ll guide you through understanding the importance of reinforcement—how to use it effectively, what types of reinforcements exist, and how to determine what motivates your dog. This knowledge will set you and your dog up for success in any environment.

This program is on-leash only, and is not ideal for dogs with behavioral issues such as reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, and separation anxiety.

• 5 Private Lessons (1:1): Focused, one-on-one coaching to master basic obedience commands and establish clear communication with your dog.
• 2 Semi-Private Lessons: Work with a small group of other clients to practice your skills in a controlled environment with added distractions.
• Training Tools (if needed): If required, we’ll provide you with the necessary training tools to support your dog’s progress.
